A 50% deposit is required to reserve a seat in any class other than the Kentucky CCDW class.
All students must be legally able to purchase a firearm. We reserve the right to perform background checks on any student reserving a seat in classes offered at AIM.
Introduction to the Self-Defense Handgun — DH1
Importance of Safety with firearms, terminology of Weaponcraft, maintenance, caliber importance, fundamentals of marksmanship, equipment choices. This course is designed to familiarize a new firearm owner with the functions of their new pistol. Generally, this course is given one on one with a competent, qualified firearm instructor. Weekends and weekdays are available and instructors can plan for groups up to 25 as well. DH1 is not a prerequisite for DH2 or DH3. This course could be taken prior to taking a concealed carry license course, but it is not mandatory.

Combined Defense Handgun/Rifle — DH5
- DR3 and DH3 required
- 2 day
- 250 rounds rifle & 100 rounds pistol
- Use your skills built in previous courses and challenge yourself to deal with problems in practical, real life scenarios. Be able to land effective hits dynamically.
Select Defense Handgun — DH6
DH4 is required. DH-4+ more, better, faster. Simulators, “Jungle Lane”, Steel Reactive Targets, Simulated Shoothouse
